Our first mantra process of the year is about to begin and we are chanting to connect to the energy of CHAMUNDESHWARI. Many of you have seen my mala beads and asked about them. In the Persian culture, my background, we call prayer beads tasbee, in India they are referred to as mala beads, in Christianity, they are called rosary beads - we are all unified in the same practices with different names. Beads have been used for prayer, meditation, and contemplation dating back before the 10th century.
